My being of the conversationalist camp and a runny nosed sausage maker it's about asking the best questions i.e. "Why should our customers care?" Create the internal passion and the cashiers get on board in the most productive ways.

I think you've missed the point entirely. If a product/service is seriously flawed, "managing the brand" through better PR or advertising isn't going to help.

Too many brands think better branding can make an inferior product successful. This is just one example.

Thanks for the kind words, Steve. That word -- broker -- seems to be coming up a lot this week. You might also want to check out what we are doing with API bundles to help developers overcome the cost burden of working with network APIs (and how that same fix opens new revenue channels for service providers). http://developer.alcatel-lucent.com

Great thoughts and descriptive analogy of the current state of websites and social media. Completely agree, content is still KING, but I really like the visual of Facebook and other social media being the highway. The more active people become and the more focused and targeted all those conversations can become will allow us to bypass a lot of the traffic eventually and get into the "fast lane" to get what we need/want from those interactions. Things like Hootsuite, Tweetdeck, and Twitter Lists are just the first steps to making that happen....

Hello,

I'm seeking help for the kids of Haiti.

I'm at this site for a non-profit group that spends their time to
creating oppurtunities for the kids in haiti. If anyone wants to give money then this is the place:

Donate to Haiti or Help Haiti

They give children in Haiti a positive outlook through education.

And yes, they are legitimate.

Any help would be great
